The polygons were imported from the National Hydro Network (Waterbody feature class) and then organized by salmon river watershed, to create a dataset with one polygon feature for each watershed. Larger, "two-sided" rivers are also depicted as polygons in the "Salmon Waterbodies" dataset. Like the related "Basins" dataset, the Salmon Waterbodies dataset contains attribute information on the name, zone and class of each salmon river/waterbody as reflected in the following documents: (i) </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;">Anglers' Guide - Scheduled Salmon Rivers of Newfoundland and Labrador </SPAN><SPAN>and (ii) </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;">Conservation and Protection - Scheduled Salmon Rivers &amp; DFO Detachment Regions Newfoundland and Labrador. </SPAN><SPAN>It also provides links to online information on current in-season status.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Cette classe d’entité contient des polygones qui montrent les plans d’eau à saumon au sein du bassin versant de chacune des 28 </SPAN><SPAN>rivières à saumon se trouvant dans le détachement du MPO</SPAN><SPAN> de Goose Bay.
