<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This feature class contains lines which show salmon rivers within each of the 16 salmon river watersheds that fall within the DFO Clarenville detachment area. The lines were imported from the National Hydro Network (SLWater feature class) and then organized by salmon river watershed, to create a dataset with one line feature for each watershed. Only "single-line" rivers are included. Larger, "two-sided" rivers are depicted as polygons in the "Salmon Waterbodies" dataset. Like the related "Basins" dataset, the Salmon Rivers dataset contains attribute information on the name, zone and class of each salmon river as reflected in the following documents: (i) </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;">Anglers' Guide - Scheduled Salmon Rivers of Newfoundland and Labrador </SPAN><SPAN>and</SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;"> </SPAN><SPAN>(ii) </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;">Conservation and Protection - Scheduled Salmon Rivers & DFO Detachment Regions Newfoundland and Labrador.</SPAN><SPAN> It also provides links to online information on current in-season status.</SPAN></P><P><SPAN>Cette classe d’entité contient des lignes qui montrent l’écoulement (non orienté) du réseau fluvial au sein du bassin versant de chacune des 16 rivières à saumon se trouvant dans le détachement du MPO de Clarenville. L’écoulement est représenté par des lignes qui traversent les cours d’eau (rivières et ruisseaux) ainsi que les plans d’eau. Les lignes ont été importées du Réseau hydro national (classe d’entité FilamentairePrimaireOriente) puis organisées par bassin versant de rivière à saumon, afin de créer un ensemble de données avec une entité de ligne pour chaque bassin versant. Comme l’ensemble de données « Basins » connexe, l’ensemble de données « Salmon Rivers » contient des données attributaires sur les « nom », « zone » et « catégorie » de chaque rivière à saumon, telles qu’elles figurent dans les documents suivants : (i) </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;">Guide du pêcheur à la ligne – Rivières à saumon réglementées de Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador</SPAN><SPAN>, et (ii) </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-style:italic;">Conservation et protection – Rivières à saumon réglementées et détachements du MPO à Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador</SPAN><SPAN>.
