The map uses a general Salish Sea boundary to illustrate where the Salish Sea is, noting that marine emissions and resulting concentrations of pollutants are not bound by jurisdictional borders. It is also recognized that marine emissions from the US contribute to cumulative effects in the Salish Sea, therefore the SSMER program is considering ways of including relevant US data. </SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
