The Maritimes Region is divided into seven Clam Harvesting Areas (CHA).
CLAM HARVESTING AREA 1 is described as follows:
The inland and tidal waters of the counties of Colchester, Cumberland and Hants that border and flow into the Bay of Fundy.
CLAM HARVESTING AREA 2 is described as follows:
The inland and tidal waters of the counties of Annapolis, Digby and Kings.
CLAM HARVESTING AREA 3 is described as follows:
The inland and tidal waters of Yarmouth County.
Time restrictions for Clam Harvesting Area 3: No person shall fish for clams from sunset each Saturday until sunrise on the following Monday (closed Sundays) in the boundaries of Clam Harvesting Area 3.
CLAM HARVESTING AREA 4 is described as follows:
The inland and tidal waters of the counties of Shelburne, Queens and Lunenburg and that portion of Halifax County west of Pennant Point (as defined in the Territorial Sea Geographical Coordinates Order (C.R.C., c. 1550), Schedule I, Area 4).
CLAM HARVESTING AREA 5 is described as follows:
he inland and tidal waters of Guysborough County and that portion of Halifax County east of Pennant Point (as defined in the Territorial Sea Geographical Coordinates Order (C.R.C., c. 1550), Schedule I, Area 4).
CLAM HARVESTING AREA 6 is described as follows:
The inland and tidal waters of the counties of Richmond and Cape Breton, all of Victoria County except that portion between Cape North and Inverness County and that portion of Inverness County that borders on the Bras d'Or Lakes.
NEW BRUNSWICK - BAY OF FUNDY
CLAM HARVESTING AREA 7 is described as follows:
The inland and tidal waters of the counties of Charlotte, Saint John and Albert that flow into the Bay of Fundy.

La ZONE DE PÊCHE DES MYES 1 est décrite comme suit :
Les eaux intérieures et les eaux de marée des comtés de Colchester, de Cumberland et de Hants qui bordent la baie de Fundy et s’y jettent.
La ZONE DE PÊCHE DES MYES 2 est décrite comme suit :
Les eaux intérieures et les eaux de marée des comtés d’Annapolis, de Digby et de Kings.
La ZONE DE PÊCHE DES MYES 3 est décrite comme suit :
Les eaux intérieures et les eaux de marée du comté de Yarmouth.
Restrictions concernant les périodes pour la zone de pêche des myes 3 : Il est interdit à quiconque de pêcher des myes du coucher du soleil chaque samedi au lever du soleil le lundi suivant.
La ZONE DE PÊCHE DES MYES 4 est décrite comme suit :
Les eaux intérieures et les eaux de marée des comtés de Shelburne, de Queens et de Lunenburg et de la partie du comté d’Halifax située à l’ouest de la pointe Pennant (Décret sur les coordonnées géographiques pour la mer territoriale (C.R.C., ch. 1550), Annexe I, région 4).
La ZONE DE PÊCHE DES MYES 5 est décrite comme suit :
Les eaux intérieures et les eaux de marée du comté de Guysborough et de la partie du comté de Halifax située à l’est de la pointe Pennant (Décret sur les coordonnées géographiques pour la mer territoriale (C.R.C., ch. 1550), Annexe I, région 4).
La ZONE DE PÊCHE DES MYES 6 est décrite comme suit :
Les eaux intérieures et les eaux de marée des comtés de Richmond et du cap Breton, de tout le comté de Victoria, à l’exception de la partie située entre Cape North et le Comté d’Inverness, et de la partie du Comté d’Inverness qui borde les lacs Bras d’Or.
